WHAT: The community is invited to join Plaza El Segundo and the Jewish Community Center of the Beach Cities in a FREE Menorah Lighting Ceremony to recognize Chanukah, the Jewish celebration of lights. Spinning dreidels, traditional hot latkes, freshly made donuts and gifts for the children will also be featured at the festive holiday party.
The Growing Garden Pre-school and Hebrew School will perform holiday music and songs.
The Menorah will be on display beginning Wednesday December 5th near Starbucks, but during the ceremony it will be moved to The Collection (near Pinkberry & Anthropologie). Following the ceremony the menorah will go back on display near Starbucks until December 17th.
