Leading us on this sonic journey are two of Los Angeles’ most valuable sound resources: professor and world renowned production sound mixer, Fred Ginsburg, CAS, Ph.D. and author and award winning rerecording mixer,Woody Woodhall CAS. Utilizing their 40 years of combined sound expertise they will deliver a packed seminar with best practices, tips and tools that no filmmaker should be without! With ample time for Q& A planned throughout the seminar, the day will be will be split into four sections including:
Session#1 - Production Gear (getting a hands on look at mics booms, lavs, preamps and power packs.)
Session#2 - Audio Post Overview (elements of getting from locked picture to final output.)
Session#3 - Production Techniques (best practices)
Session#4 - Mixing and Outputs (finalizing your soundtrack and creating deliverables)
The schedule for the day includes two 60-minutes morning sessions with a Q & A, a lunch break and two 60-minute afternoon sessions with a Q&A at the end.
