Donna Karan Fall 2012 Collection Review - "His Lapel, Her Body"



 

Transposing from DKNY to Donna Karan is a night seeking comparison to daylight breaking in an arctic, urban jungle sheathed for the weather in munificent cuts commencing show, only to break form and fit into a ‘flapper’ era-static designated realm of imagination.

Such drastic novelty referenced modernism in a decadent age of consistent re-elaboration. Pinstripe wool attested to its versatility in the hands of legendary womenswear designer, supplementing traditional form with a one shoulder asymmetrically lent tuck n’ fold knee touching dress.
