PAULEY PERETTE ("NCIS"), JACK OSBOURNE, RICHARD GRIECO ("21 Jump Street," "Booker"), TOMMY DAVIDSON ("In Living Color"), John Savage ("Deer Hunter"), Kevyn Major Howard ("Full Metal Jacket"), Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin ("Army Wives") top a long list of stars who will be on hand at Cops4Causes inaugural "Heroes helping Heroes" benefit on Tuesday, Sept. 11th at the just-opened hot spot, Pink Taco, 8225 Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood, from 8-11 pm. The pink carpet, anchored by a step & repeat, opens at 7:30 pm.
Los Angeles Council Member Eric Garcetti and Pink Taco CEO Harry Morton host the stellar evening, co-sponsored by Krispy Kreme (they're packing 10,000 doughnuts for delivery to military stationed overseas in collectors' edition, signed-celebrity boxes). Festivities include the Air National Guard Band of the Southwest, a surprise all-star celebrity band and Fueled by the Fallen's 9/11 mobile memorial. An unveiling of the first-ever L.A. County-based job board exclusively for veterans will be unveiled that evening.
Funds raised support veteran employment, education and wellness programs in Los Angeles and nationally through the R.J. Cottle Returning Heroes Veterans Fund, Additionally, the organization will be assisting the Pointe du Hoc Foundation to complete construction of a memorial honoring the courage, fortitude and selfless sacrifice of all who have served and supported the 2nd Ranger Battalion.
